I usually try and find gadgets that don’t cost an arm and a leg. I have found that you get what you pay for on most of these cheapo, whoops sorry, inexpensive sites. I took a chance and purchased one of these items as I am an avocado lover and tired of cutting away half the avocado as it turns black quickly. I’m not sure what part of the country you hail from, but in California, avocados are very expensive. Not sure why that is since they are grown in our state, so no transportation costs should be considered. But hey, what do I know I’m just a stupid consumer that pays almost $2.00 a piece for these little gems. With that said, I wasn’t really looking for an avocado saver, but I must be living right because it just appeared one day as I was surfing for products.
I could use a lot of adjectives, a few adverbs and a sprinkling of nouns and verbs to describe the effectiveness of this device, for want of another word, but why bother. Bottom line it works, plain and simple. If a picture is truly worth a thousand words, then check out the photos in the description page. It works just as shown in the pictures, you can see the avocado as the lid is clear, so no guessing what’s in the box. If you have been avoiding paying those high prices for avocados because you know they will get black and you waste half of them, avoid no more. This money saver may be a bit pricey, but it will save you money in long run if you love your avocados the way I do.
